2009 Summer Camp

Dear Band Parent:

We have just completed a very successful marching season so that means our Centennial student musicians are heading indoors for what will be another great concert season. Your support for your student and the music program is an important part of making each year so successful.

We understand that economic times are tough but please take a moment to consider a donation to the Crescendo Club. The Crescendo Club fund is used to supplement the normal music program budget and is used for such items as new sheet music, new instruments, repairs to current instruments, and bringing in guest artists, just to name a few uses.

A copy of the Crescendo Club form is attached for your use.

Any size donation is appreciated. Please note that for each multiple of $25 given you will receive one pass to attend all student band concerts this school year, so for example a $50 donation will receive 2 passes. Also note that many companies have a matching gift program for which the Crescendo Club should qualify. Corporate matches are a great way to double your giving power with very little additional effort. You will also be recognized in the music program at our concerts as being a Crescendo Club member, with contribution amounts being completely confidential.

Thank you for your continued support of the music program.

Sincerely,

Your CHS Band Backers

FIRST ANNUAL BANDBACKERS

Over 150 people came to support our band fundraiser and either won or bid on over $700 worth of prizes.  You are all winners for coming together as a community for a good cause, yummy food, fun games, and the chance to see our children outbid each other!

A HUGE thank you goes to all those who helped with Band Backers Bingo night, but particularly to Susan Roth, Joan Harring, Kathy Davis, VanKan family, Rous family, Victoria Gong, Stein family, Richard Rain, and Bonnie Sorak for the incredible contributions in many aspects of making BINGO night so successful!  A big round of applause to our Bingo callers, Dr. Carl Perkins, Mr. Frank Owens, and Mrs. Patricia Neidig!
